As an insurance professional I talk to a lot of people who are new to our area. I know how hard it can be to figure out what fun things there are to do. So I want to share some of the things my family enjoys and maybe we'll see you there. We live in Winter Haven so that's where this is focused but we often find ourselves in Lakeland, Lake Wales or elsewhere in Polk County that we want to share about. If you see me or our mascot Josie, the Shetland Sheep Dog, be sure to say hi.
Friday April 7th- The office will be closed for Good Friday. We’ll be heading out to Lake Wales to spend the day at Bok Tower Gardens. We’ll be sure to bring quarters to buy fish food for the Koi under the tower. The children’s garden at Bok Tower Is amazing.
Saturday April 8th- Saturday mornings are for hanging around downtown, Winter Haven. After hitting up Haven Coffee Roasters, we'll be checking out Winter Haven Farmers Market (next to Grove Roots) Agape Greek Bakery will be there with their amazing baklava.
Sunday- We’ll be heading over to Beymer Church for the 11:00 Easter service and then having a family dinner and Easter Egg hunt.
